Banbury Twenty moved up to second spot with a 113-run thrashing of Buckingham. John Wright (54) and Dave Mitchell (50) scored well for Twenty early on before Dave Clark (41 no) and Tim Pearce (30 no) shared an unbroken stand of 70 for the sixth wicket as they totalled 223-5. Martin Thomas (4-39) and Phil Densham (3-36) then ripped the heart out of Buckingham's batting and, with only Steve Beck (41) putting up any real resistance, the home side were dismissed for 110.
