Lowly Cumnor pulled off the shock of the day, thrashing second-placed Thame by 60 runs. Put in to bat, Cumnor made 177-6 with Malcolm Evans (42) and Graham Scott (40) leading the way as Steve Merry took 3-45. Thame were soon in dire straits at 40-6 before finally being bowled out for 117, Adam Cook taking 4-31.
