JT/FOX Oxford Cheetahs go into action for tonight's TV clash against Elite League leaders King's Lynn without a guest for Jimmy Nilsen.
Team manager Colin Meredith said: "We have searched high and low to find a guest, but so far we have not had any luck. "All the top riders ride in the Swedish League and don't return to this country until Thursday. The only ones who come back are those who are competing for their clubs. It's been a hopeless cause so far and won't look too good in front of the TV cameras."
What was an uphill task is now mountainous for Oxford, who will have to operate rider-replacement for the injured Nilsen.
