Bookshops have reported an unprecedented rush for the fourth instalment in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
And some have tapped into Harry Potter fever by opening especially early for the publication of the book and laying on special events. Blackwell's bookshop in Broad Street, Oxford, opened its doors at 7.30am for the Harry Potter Breakfast Club, offering the chance to win a trip to see the Hogwart's Express the train which carries Harry and his friends to wizard school and get a copy of the adventure signed by author J K Rowling.
The train is due to call at Didcot this afternoon for a special book signing for those lucky enough to have won golden tickets to meet the author.
