Budding poets have received a national award for the quality of their verse.
Youngsters from Millbrook School, Grove, near Wantage, are celebrating after being given a Millennium Award for Creativity from the National Primary Centre.
A group of nine-year-old pupils and their class teacher, Sarah Carter, collected it at a presentation at Brookside Primary School in Bicester.
Oxfordshire County Council's Chief Education Officer Graham Badman opened the ceremony and praised the children for their hard work.
