People of all ages will have the chance to work alongside professional artists to put on a spectacular performance in the ruins of Minster Lovell Hall.
Children and adults are being urged to join workshops in dance, music, story-telling and shadow-puppetry as part of the Forest that Sailed Away arts project.
It explores the story of the Wychwood Forest, where many trees were felled to make ships. It will end with an outdoor show on September 15 and 16.
More than 50 people will be involved in the final performance, including children from Wood Green School in Witney and Leafield Primary School. They will work with story-teller and poet Margot Henderson.
The project is supported by West Oxfordshire District Council and Southern Arts and co-ordinated by Coral Arts. Call 01993 775490 for details.
