Lord Williams's, Thame triumphed in a girls' cricket tournament involving Beaconsfield School, Bucks, and Misbourne School, Gt Missenden.
In the final of the competition held at Thame CC, Lord Bills A beat Beaconsfield A 281-267.
Prizes were awarded to all teams, thanks to a donation from Waitrose supermarket in Thame. Girls interested in playing cricket should contact Jenny Day, the women's club cricket development officer, on 01494 462513.
