Alchester Running Club, from Bicester, took a break from the competitive side of the sport to celebrate their first anniversary.
More than 100 athletes and supporters attended a social event and disco at Wendlebury Village Hall on Saturday.
This was followed by a six-mile social run held the following morning in Bicester.
The club had further cause for celebration with the selection of one of their more recent recruits, Piers Vallance, to represent Britain's Under 21s in this month's World Tetrathlon Championships at Tipperary.
