Witney-based Oliver Braithwaite is set to make his first-team debut as Oxford Cavaliers bring the curtain down on their rugby league season with a clash against the Royal Navy at Marston Ferry Road tonight (Wed, 7pm).
Braithwaite is in line to take over from skipper Mick Scargill, who looks set to be absent. His inclusion continues coach Dave Doran's policy of choosing promising local players.
Scrum half Caro Wild is missing through injury and student star Jon Flatman could play his first game since the away fixture at Crawley.
There will also be fitness tests for Jerry Rushworth and Rob Lawson.
