A 74-year-old south Oxfordshire man has been charged with indecent assault on a 13-year-old girl.
The man, from Steventon, near Abingdon, was arrested on Monday in connection with an incident at Denchworth, near Wantage, last week.
The arrest followed a series of calls at homes in Oxfordshire and Berkshire by detectives.
Police stopped and questioned more than 70 motorists in Denchworth, near Wantage, after reports of an incident in a parked car off the Denchworth to Charney Basset road on July 25. The man, who has not been named, has been released on police bail. He is due to appear before Wantage magistrates on Wednesday.
