White Horse Harrier Lisa Godding-Feltham took first place in the Pewsey Half Marathon in a time of 1hr 28mins 21secs.

Pete Chivers led home Bicester-based Alchester's runners in the Le Touquet 10 km road race, completing the course in 38.06 and recording a new over 50-year male age group club record for the second week running.

The winner of the race was the North African international athlete Abdel Djemadi in the very impressive time of 29.26.

Abingdon Ambler Thornton Greenland ran the 19th Sophienhohe mountain race in Joulich, Germany and came home 2nd Vet 50.

The event involved a 11.6-mile course with a climb of 450m and he was 17th overall in a field of 96, in a time of 59.33.

Fellow Abingdon runner Hilary O'Shea ran the Blaisdon Jelly Leg 14-mile multi-terrain race, which involved an ascent of 1800 ft. She was first lady over 50 in 2hrs 5mins 23secs. Bob Hayler, from Kidlington, completed the Helsinki Marathon in a time of 3hrs 45m 18secs.

Tom Glare finished seventh in the 35-mile Two Bridges Road Race, which runs from Dunfermline to Rosyth via the Kincardine and Forth Bridges, in a time of 4hrs 5mins 27secs. Fellow Woodstock Harrier Simon Lund was 35th in 4.48.30.

Witney juniors claimed six medals and three club records at the Redditch Open. Danielle Perry won three golds and set two records in the discus (24.33m) and the shot (8.39m). Gemma Byrne won gold in the high jump in a new club best and bronze in the hurdles. Katy Chick took silver in the under 17 800m.

Natalie Cook and Darrell Bellinger, both under 17s, competed in the Stars of Tomorrow meeting at Bromsgrove and Redditch and both came home in first position to take the gold.

Cook won the 300m in 44.3 and Bellinger took the 800m in 2.09.5.
