SKATER HOCKEY: Oxford Blues took part in a three-day tournament in Ebbw Vale, fielding teams in four age groups ranging from nine to 18.
The Under 9s were beaten by the Welsh teams, while the Under 12s finished third and Joe Edwards played his way into the dream team selection.
Oxford Under 15s beat Head of the Valley Hotshots 3-1 in the final, Philip Beavon and Sam Bourgein scoring and also being picked for the dream team.
In the Under 18 age group, Oxford faced the Welsh national team in the final, winning 6-5 to claim the title for the second year running.
