Brockenhurst 4, Didcot 3 (aet)

A nine-minute, extra-time hat-trick from Phil Stone ended Didcot's involvement in this year's competition.

Despite leading for much of the match through a Rod Dorrian goal, Didcot never looked like scoring the decisive second goal they needed.

Ben Thompson drew the Jewson Wessex League side level after 76 minutes and forced the match into extra-time.

And then Stone stole the show with goals after 104, 107 and 113 minutes, with Dorrian's netting a last-minute consolation.

Abingdon Utd 1, East Preston 0

Abingdon had to endure an unnecessary nail-biting finish after failing to sew the tie up well before the end.

The only goal came in the seventh minute when Adam Cann slid the ball into the path of Chris Hooper, who shot across the keeper into the far corner.

After the break, Abingdon nearly paid the penalty for their missed chances as Withers took a quick free kick on the edge of the box, but keeper Simon Tricker saved at the second attempt.

Carterton Tn 2, Cirencester Academy 0

Carterton saw off Hellenic League rivals Cirencester in a closely fought encounter.

Reserve keeper Jeremy Winter in the Carterton goal made two excellent saves to deny Godley and Holt, while at the other end, Phil Rodney, James Mortimer-Jones and Kevin Lewis squandering good chances.

Carterton broke the deadlock 15 seconds into the second half, straight from the kick-off. Robbie Wyatt and Kevin Lewis played a one-two with Wyatt sending a tremendous 25-yard shot into the top right hand corner.

With the home side well on top, they increased the lead before Sherwood was brought down in the box and Rodney making no mistake from the spot kick.

Hornchurch 2, Bicester Tn 0

Bicester have only themselves to blame for allowing Ryman Division 3 Hornchurch a passage into the next round.

Neither side looked likely to score as football was a lottery on an atrocious pitch, until Bicester lost concentration after 71 minutes and Chris Woolf opened the scoring.

In a last-ditch attempt for an equaliser, Bicester were caught pushing forward and Woolf netted his second.

Hemel Hempstead 2, AFC Wallingford 0

Wallingford manager Dave Crowdy was left remonstrating with referee Nemorin Noel after the final whistle as his side went out against last season's Ryman Division 2 champions.

Crowdy was left rueing missed chances and a rejected penalty appeal as a goal in each half proved his side's downfall.

Despite going close through Ian Concannon, Robin Antonowicz and Gary Stevens, the home side took the lead just before the break after a goalmouth scramble.

Controversy came when the ball struck a Hemel hand in the penalty area but the ref waved away the shouts, and Hemel secured victory with a goal moments later.
