An Oxfordshire firm has won a national award for a new product, beating off tough competition from other companies all over the UK, writes Sarah Parker.
Withrange Limited, a company based on the Station Field Industrial Estate, Kidlington, has developed The Original Pigeon Magnet, an advanced pigeon decoy system which can be used to prevent damage to crops.
The company won the Shooting Industry Award for best new product, having been voted for by readers of The Shooting Times and The Sporting Gun magazines.
The Original Pigeon Magnet is a device that can include up to four decoy pigeons that flap realistically using a special flapper kit.
