Midfielder Chris Pettis got married on Saturday morning and then pulled on his boots to help East Hendred to a 7-2 win over Division 1 strugglers Harwell Village in the afternoon.
Neil Thimbleby scored six for Hendred, with another from Matthew Launchbury making it a double celebration in the evening at the club.
Andy Burton struck the winner for Long Wittenham as they moved joint top on points with Shrivenham following a 3-2 win over Blewbury.
Eric Mark had earlier scored twice for Long Witten- ham.
Benson strengthened their title aspirations as they cantered to a 4-1 win over Saxton Rovers Res.
Teddy Carter got two goals, with Matthew Prince and Ali Rodriguez also netting.
A Paul Jordan header gave Stanford-in-the-Vale a 1-0 home win over Hanney United, who missed a second-half penalty.
The Division 3 title looks to be heading west as Shriven- ham Res notched their 12th league win of the season, with an emphatic 8-0 drubbing of Stanford Res.
Rob New scored three goals, with Stuart Clark (2), Tim Price, Marc Pugh and Chris White completing the scoring.
