An Ian Concannon hat-trick, two each from Bradley Ward and substitute Pete Bryan, and a sublime chip from Barry Primmer saw Wallingford demolish Buckingham in round three of the Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy on Saturday.
Buckingham keeper Chris Chandler deserves credit for keeping the score down to 2-0 at half-time, but after the break the floodgates opened.
The United Counties League side did not help their cause when midfielder Bray was sent off in the 40th minute for dissent after an earlier booking.
The match went ahead after hours of work from a dozen or so volunteers to clear snow and standing water from areas of the Hithercroft surface.
Wallingford now entertain Courage Combined Counties League rivals Sandhurst Town in the next round.
