The first of a series of gifts to an old people's home in memory of a Thame landlord has been made.
Meadowcroft old people's home in Towersey Drive, Thame, wanted an electronic till for the bar which Michael Davy, landlord of the Two Brewers in North Street, Thame, had set up.
It was handed over by Michael's widow Sue and brother Ken, who have set up a trust fund to provide amenities for the 50-bed home.
Meadowcroft was the favourite charity of Michael, who died suddenly in October, aged only 43.
Michael, known to everyone as Nobby, raised money for the home.
The money for the till was raised during a games weekend arranged in Nobby's memory.
