Back by popular demand, television comedy stars Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders start a three-date stint at the Apollo Theatre tonight, writes Chris Gray.
Famous as the original members of The Comic Strip, the pair went on to work together on Girls on Top, Happy Families, and most notably for their successful BBC TV series, French and Saunders.
Dawn and Jennifer have also cultivated solo careers with television successes such as The Vicar of Dibley and Absolutely Fabulous. Jennifer has also appeared in two hit American series Roseanne and Friends.
French and Saunders Live in 2001 starts at 8pm each evening. Tickets are available from the box office, telephone 0870 6063500.
