A man arrested in November by police in connection with home-made bombs found near Witney and in Gloucestershire has been cleared of any involvement.
The 35-year-old Banbury man was held for questioning and released on bail. He was due to report back to Banbury police station yesterday, but was told he need not do so.
At the time of the arrest, a house in Forsythia Walk, Banbury, was cordoned off and searched.
The lethal shrapnel devices were found in August one on a wall near Andoversford, Gloucs, and eight in woods at Freeland, near Witney.
Police are still sifting through 140 calls received after the case was featured on the BBC's Crimewatch programme last week.
