Oxfordshire Under 20s suffered a narrow defeat by Surrey in their final warm-up match for the County Championship.
In what was really a training game at Gosford All Blacks' Stratfield Brake ground, Oxon, who used 24 players, lost 15-6.
Oxon, who open their Championship campaign against the RAF at Halton, Wendover, this Sunday, led 6-0 after a penalty from Chipping Norton's Jamie Lakin and a drop goal by clubmate Stuart Lawrie.
