The development of a new trail along a disused railway line will be featured at a group's annual meeting.

The Phoenix Trail is the path for cyclists, walkers and horse riders along the old railway line between Thame and Princes Risborough.

It is named after the last train to leave Thame before the station closed in the 1960s.

The path developers, Bristol-based Sustrans, will talk about the trail at the annual meeting of the Thame Better Ways to School group, on March 20.

The group has provided volunteers as the trail will be used by local children to get to school safely.

The meeting will be at 7.30pm in the conference room at Lord Williams's Upper School in Oxford Road - the current end of the Phoenix trail.
