Brill: People were prepared to make quite a splash to raise cash for their village school's swimming pool today.
About 100 pupils, ex-pupils, parents, staff and governors were due to take the plunge at Bicester pool. They are sponsored and aim to raise money towards the £10,000 needed to fix and refurbish the school pool. Once that is done money will be raised for the second phase of work on the 25-year-old pool.
