Oxford Under 11s kept alive their hopes of retaining the Berkshire County League title by defeating local rivals Vale of White Horse for the second time in a week.
Oxford, 2-1 winners at Westminster College in the league seven days earlier, coasted to a 3-0 success in the rematch at Temple Cowley Middle School.
Oxford were gifted the lead midway through the first half when the Vale defence disapppeared without trace, leaving Nicholas Thorne to find the back of the net.
And Oxford completed victory with two goals in as many minutes in the second half from Aaron Andrews and Elliott Osborne-Ricketts.
The victory leaves Oxford two points adrift of leaders Gosport & Fareham, with both sides having two games left.
*Vale of White Horse Under 13s went into today's Dave Meeson Trophy encounter against Aldershot at King Alfred's School, Wantage, knowing that a point would be enough for them to win the competition.
Vale were left needing just a draw after last Saturday's trip to Chiltern & South Bucks was called off because of a frozen pitch.
