Abingdon Amblers came within a whisker of victory in their first ever match in the Southern League, at Tooting Bec on Saturday.
They finished just one point behind the eventual winners, Team Solent, in the Division 5W meeting.
Every Abingdon team member managed to record at least one first place and a number took part in events for the first time.
