A thief snatched a woman's handbag from her car while she was held up in traffic in Banbury town centre.
A scruffily-dressed man approached the 79-year-woman's car in Calthorpe Street on Tuesday and asked for directions to the local Argos store.
As she wound down the window, he reached into the car, grabbed her handbag containing £50 cash and ran off towards the High Street.
