Newly-merged Oxford & Horspath are away to Burnham in Division 2 West, and their exciting side might struggle for the opening weeks of the season because of availability problems, with first-team regulars Ben Thompson, Kenny Bingham, Alex Pike and Andy Bones all away at university.
Teenage all-rounder Adam Krol has joined from Thame, but Oxfordshire off-spinner Giles Peddy, who lives in London, will play for Hampstead.
Oxford have also lost Oxford Brookes University batsman Abeed Janmohammed.
