An 11-year-old schoolboy has been robbed of his birthday money during a shopping trip in Abingdon.
The victim and a friend were approached by two older teenage boys in the town centre.
The teenagers started a conversation, then one of them grabbed the victim's purple and black Adidas wrist wallet, which contained £15, and the pair ran off.
A group of boys standing nearby helped the victim and his friend search for the offenders.
They said they knew who the offenders were, but the victim was too shaken to get either their names, or those of the robbers.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened in Bath Street, on Sunday.
