Soap fan John Brown got a kiss on the cheek from East Enders' Melanie after queuing for four hours to catch a glimpse of the stars at the British Soap Awards.
John, 12, had travelled from Oxford with his family, who were lucky enough to get tickets for the ceremony in London last Saturday.
John's mother, Sharon Brown, of Slade Close, Headington, Oxford, said her son asked actress Tamzin Outhwaite, left - who was named sexiest female in soaps for the third year running - for the peck on the cheek.
Mrs Brown said: "The lipstick is still on his face.
"He won't wash his face. It was really sweet."
