A second Oxfordshire man has appeared in court charged following clashes between white and Asian gangs in Aylesbury.
A 35-year-old man from Wantage appeared before Aylesbury magistrates yesterday to answer charges of assaulting a police officer during a mass brawl in Russell Avenue in the town on Sunday
On Tuesday, Thomas Birch, 34, of Baker Street, Abingdon, appeared before the court on the same charge. Both cases have been adjourned until June 18.
A 38-year-old Aylesbury man was charged with possessing an offensive weapon and a 19-year-old man from Cobham, Surrey, charged with resisting arrest.
All were given bail.
