Taxi driver Foyez Ahmed, 39, of Jersey Road, Oxford, was committed for trial at Oxford Crown Court by Didcot magistrates yesterday charged with indecently assaulting a woman passenger, who cannot be named for legal reasons. Magistrates were told the alleged offence happened at Abingdon on March 8. Ahmed, who spoke through an interpreter, was remanded on unconditional bail to appear at Crown Court on July 6. He was granted legal aid.
