A row between a group of Kosovans and Asian taxi drivers outside a nightclub ended in violence, a court was told.
David Bright, prosecuting, told Oxford Crown Court yesterday, Artur Koka, 27, was one of a number of Kosovan men who were out in Oxford on the evening of Saturday night, July 8.
Mr Bright said they ended up at Jongleurs club in Hythe Bridge Street, but Koka was asked to leave. Outside, an argument flared up into violence between the Kosovans and and some Asian taxi drivers.
Mr Bright said Koka, formerly of Girdlestone Road, Headington, but now of East Dulwich, London, was involved in the trouble in which sticks and belts were used.
Koka admitted charges of threatening behaviour and common assault.
Mr Bright said: "He jabbed a doorman in the stomach with a broom handle - that's seen on film. He used the same broom handle to strike a Toyota motor car."
Anthony McGeorge, defending, said one of the Kosovans had been struck on the head and Koka thought one of the taxi drivers was responsible.
Judge Anthony King sentenced him to carry out a community order of 120 hours work in the next 12 months. He ordered him to pay £250.
