One of the county's most successful blues nights is enjoying a new lease of life at a new venue.
Monday Blues has moved to Jongleurs, Hythe Bridge Street, after 17 years at the Fuggle and Firkin - formerly The Brewhouse.
Philip Guy-Davis, who fought to keep the weekly event at its previous home, is now running it.
He said: "I'm delighted. It has kept a 17-year-tradition of live music here in Oxford. I'm doing this very much as a love thing."
The blues night moved from the Fuggle and Firkin after Bass Leisure Retail, which owns the Gloucester Street pub, decided to give it a change of image.
Mr Guy-Davis, of Walton Street, Oxford, who has managed clubs in the past, said the event was doing well at the new venue and had attracted people who hadn't been before.
The blues night has a reputation as one of the best in the country.
Next Monday, blues fans can listen to Lightenin' Willie and the Poor Boys, fronted by William Hermes, a former postgraduate Oxford University student. Entry is £2.
Doors open at 8pm and shows usually begin about 9.20pm.
