Dog owners are being urged to get their pets microchipped.
The system, using a microchip implanted beneath the skin, allows easy identification and speedy return of lost animals.
Roadshows for the service will be at the farmers' markets in Chipping Norton on Friday, June 22 and Carterton on Saturday, June 30. Animal welfare officer David Austin said a roadshow in Witney earlier this year was a great success.
