Aston Rowant took advantage of leaders Dinton's inactivity to beat Witney Mills by seven wickets and move into pole position.
Batting first, Mills were again indebted to the Cannons brothers, Andy (41) and Mark (34), as they reached 195-8, although Rowant skipper Chris Hutton was less than thrilled with his bowlers conceding 40 wides!
In reply, Rowant accumulated runs steadily, but the course of the match might have changed if opening bat Dave Ridgeley hadn't been dropped with the score 72-2.
As it was, he went on to steer Rowant to 196-3 with an unbeaten 79.
