Leaders Oxford Downs suffered their first defeat of the season as they went down by three wickets at Shipton-under-Wych- wood in the only top-flight clash to beat the weather.
Having been put in to bat, Downs managed just 126, with Ian Caunce top-scoring on 36 as left-arm spinner Shaun Miller celebrated his county call-up with a 5-27 haul off 17 overs.
Shipton looked to be coasting to victory at 108-2, but Downs' own spinner Hugo Thurston sparked a collapse, claiming 6-53.
However, the lower order held firm to steer Shipton home at 130-7 and take them zooming up to third place.
