Yvan Muller, from the Vauxhall Motorsport team, based at Greatworth, near Banbury, took an historic double win in front of record crowds at today's www.theAA.com British Touring Car Championship races at Mondello Park, near Dublin.
Following his double pole in Saturday's qualifying session, the Frenchman took maximum points away from the weekend witnessed by more than 15,000 spectators.
Muller continues to lead the overall championship standings, 27 points ahead of team-mate Jason Plato, from Oxford.
The Egg Sport Astra Coupe driver, James Thompson lies in overall third place with 111 points, only five behind Plato.
