Ten people were charged with public order and assault offences in Oxford city centre over the weekend.

The arrests took place in Park End Street, New Inn Hall Street and George Street and involved separate incidents at different times between Friday and Sunday.

Three people, including a 17-year-old girl, were charged with threatening behaviour, another with being drunk and disorderly, one with being drunk and disorderly and resisting arrest, and a sixth with public order offences. Early on Sunday, four people were arrested and later charged with causing actual bodily harm and affray, following a fracas in the city centre.

All ten were bailed and are due to appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court soon.
