Chipping Norton FC, who have re-formed and are looking to re-establish themselves as a senior club, have appointed a new manager.
He is former player Alan Dore, who will be a popular choice because of his local connections.
Dore played for the club during their successful times in the 80s when they won the Midland Combination in successive seasons.
Chippy, who have not played senior football for several years, have had their application to join Hellenic League Division 1 West next season accepted.
They welcome new players and hope many of their better players who left to join other clubs, may now return. Players interested in joining should contact Dore on 01993 832956.
