Oxford United is holding two recruitment fairs as the club looks to fill more than 100 jobs at the new Kassam Stadium.

The fairs will take place at The Priory, next to the new Minchery Farm stadium, on Wednesday, June 27, from 8am to 8pm and on Saturday, June 30, from 10am to 4pm.

Spokesman Catriona Vernel said the club was looking at "all ranges and all levels" of full-time and part-time staff.

"We want to get as many people as possible to come along to these fairs because there are a lot of positions involved," said Ms Vernel.

"We are looking at the food and beverage catering side, and staff for the conference facilities. But we also need a receptionist, and some on the management and sales side with administrators and conference co-ordinators and, of course, we will need a large number of matchday employees.

"We're looking to recruit a main core of permanent staff backed up by a bank of casual staff.

"It's a new beginning for Oxford United and for the city, so it's an exciting time ahead.

"We would ask for as many interested people as possible to come along, and bring their CVs with them."

United will kick-off the 2001-2002 season at The Kassam Stadium, with the first league game taking place in August.

The all-seater £15m stadium has an initial capacity of 12,500 and the new ground's impressive conference facilities are expected to be used throughout the week.
