A revised traffic-calming scheme planned for Banbury will be on display at the town hall on June 28, 29, and 30.

The exhibition, to explain the Banbury Integrated Transport and Land Use Strategy, will be open to the public from 2pm to 8pm on Thursday and Friday, and from 10am to 4pm on Saturday.

Oxfordshire County Council, has redesigned the proposed traffic-calming scheme for South Bar/Horsefair/North Bar and the new plans will be on show.

The county council is working with Cherwell District Council to develop the overall strategy.

The traffic-calming scheme is part of it.

The exhibition will highlight other measures including the dualling of Hennef Way, giving buses priority in the town centre and developing a cycle network in and around town.

John Disley, principal transport planner for the county council, said: "We hope everyone will give their views on the strategy.

"Council officers will be there to talk people through key measures and leaflets will be available explaining why changes are necessary."
