Runner-up Martin Chown pushed him close, weighing in with 5-13-0 of small chub. Third was Ken Brown with 2-11-8.
Craig Partridge finished first in Kidlington AS's Gaybourne Tankard, fished on the River Cherwell at Thrupp.
Partridge recorded 15-13-0 with six chub and small fish caught on pole and maggot.
