FOUR players were sent off after a mass brawl during the Morrells Oxford Sunday League Division 3 clash between Chalgrove and Roebuck

The game boiled over 15 minutes from time after a rash challenge, leaving referee Nick Baldwin no option but to send four players off, three from Roebuck and another from Chalgrove.

In a hard-fought game, the home side took the lead through Robbie Cantwell's fifth-minute goal before 'Chopper' Harris scored the equaliser in the 1-1 draw.

Last season, violence of a different kind flared up and referee Baldwin had to take the players off the field after fighting broke out between rival supporters during the OFA Sam Waters Cup final between Six Bells and Trades Athletic. Trades won the match 2-1.

A hat-trick from Matthew Phillips helped Division 1 leaders Star Royal thrash an under-strength Oxford Supporters' side 12-1.

Jason Maciak and Neil Drewett were in great form as they grabbed a brace each, with Karl Brown, Ben Baldwin, Stewart Wise, Luke Brandon and Wayne Harbert on target. Mark McClean was Oxford's scorer.

Mansfield Road saw off Six Bells 3-2 with goals from Ade Odumbani, Danny Trinder and Graham Forster. Simon Grossman scored twice for Six Bells.

Wolvercote outshone Star Wanderers 2-0 with Steven Gray and Matthew Spooner on target.

In Division 2, Northway beat Barton United 3-1 with goals from Chris Brown, Simon Drewett and Karl Gray.

Arncott crashed 5-1 to Woodchip Wanderers in Division 3, with goals from John Goodgame (2), Ashley Pick (2), and Andy Hayward. Kevin Harrison replied.

In Division 6, Priory kept up their 100 per cent record, beating AFC Porto 8-2. Matty Prince and Peter Slaherty grabbed a hat-trick apiece. Adrian Dyer and Jamie Russell got the other goals.
