THAME United are expecting their biggest crowd of the season when they take on high-flying Havant & Waterlooville at the Windmill Stadium in tomorrow's FA Cup second qualifying round tie, writes NICK FARRANT.

On Tuesday, Thame extended their impressive unbeaten run to ten games with a 10-2 demolition of Barking & East Ham in Ryman League Division 1.

But Thame boss Andy Sinnott is under no illusions about the task they face against the current leaders of the Dr Martens League Premier Division, who have yet to be beaten this season, plundering 25 goals in their 11 league games.

He said: "I would like to say Tuesday was a magnificent performance, but they were poor.

"Having said that, it is still good at our level of football to score ten goals.

"I didn't feel we were at our best. We have been creating chances and I knew someone was in for a thrashing, but Barking invited it. "But it brings us into tomorrow's game unbeaten in ten games and the prospect of playing someone like Havant is exciting.

"I am hoping we can get through this round and ignite the people in Thame a bit.

"The only time the ground would be full is if we got Barcelona, but I'm expecting a few more than we normally get.

"We have been doing well for the past four years but haven't really had a decent run in the FA Cup.

"The £7,500 would be nice, but the most important thing is getting through.

"I have seen Havant and they are a very good side.

"But we should not be frightened of them. I am looking forward to pitting our wits against them. I think we can get a good result. It should be a cracking cup tie."

Mark Jones comes in for Justin Merritt who is still suspended. Meanwhile, four Oxford City players are hoping to shake off injuries ahead of their trip to fellow league strugglers Windsor & Eton.

Andy Smith (foot), Michael Thorp (calf), Mark Druce (groin) and Shaun Wimble (knee) will all receive fitness tests during during a light training sesssion in the morning.

Boss Paul Lee is already without Matty Hayward, Chris Organ, Steve Arkins and Nick McCrae, and now their new keeper from Abingdon United, Alex Deadman, is out with thigh injury.

Youngster Kameron Abassi, who impressed in Tuesday's defeat against Tooting & Mitcham, continues in midfield.

Lee has watched Windsor, who boast former Oxford United player Garry Smart in their side, and is puzzled by their league position.

"I am amazed where they are at the moment. They have got some good players. It will be a difficult game. "I am not thinking about our league position (City are 18th) because I know we will move up the table when I get all my players back from injury."

"In the FA Cup league form tends to goes out of the window."
