He moves to Kamelian, at Oxford Business Park, Yarnton, from ICI and will be responsible for for patent licensing and patent dispute negotiation.
Chief executive Paul May said: "His appointment builds on our already strong team of personnel who together will ensure that Kamelian becomes the leading supplier of SOA products for the optical network industry."
