PAUL Powell has been told he's got to get fitter, writes JON MURRAY.
Writing exclusively in the Oxford Mail, United boss Mark Wright says "it's not right" that Powell appears to hit a brick wall halfway through a match, and suggests there must be something in his personal life which is getting in the way.
"The supporters have to understand, and Paul Powell himself has to understand, that he has to be a hell of a lot fitter. He now will be training very, very hard," Wright said.
Powell, who impressed when he came on as a substitute at Northampton in midweek, is again expected to be on the bench for today's game against Scunthorpe.
