The first solar-powered school crossing lights in the county are to be set up outside Benson school.
Benson parish council chairman Paul Booker said: "We have had a long struggle to get these lights and we are delighted they are going to be installed."
The lights, which will be fitted today, will be timed to coincide with morning, lunchtime and afternoon comings and goings at the school.
