The former commanding officer of an army regiment based in Didcot has received an award in the New Year's Honours list.
Lt Col Stephen Cooper was made an MBE for his work with 11 Explosive Ordnance Disposal Regiment of the Royal Logistic Corps. He is working in Australia on an exchange programme with the Australian military.
