Jaguar plan to test their new R3 Grand Prix car for the first time at the Circuit de Cataluyna in Barcelona, Spain today.

The car, which was unveiled at the team's Milton Keynes base last week, was designed by chief designer John Russell and chief aerodynamicist Mark Handford.

A rally in Oxfordshire, on October 26, similar to the successful Banbury Rally, is included in the calendar for the Peugeot 206 Super Cup's 2002 programme.

No details have yet been released for the event.

Skoda Motorsport are entering three cars in the 2002 World Rally Championship season.

Sweden's Kenneth Eriksson and Tina Th-rner, and Finland's Toni Gardemeister and Paavo Lukander will represent the major force of Skoda Motorsport in 2002, challenging in the full world rally programme. A third Octavia WRC will also compete in all 14 events.

Castle Combe Circuit's winter programme of improvements is well under way with the installation of ten-foot high debris fencing at Camp, Folly and Quarry corners.

Suzuki are providing full support for three Team Suzuki Ignis private rally teams from Japan, Finland and Germany who will enter six European rounds of the FIA Junior World Rally Championship, including the Network Q Rally of Great Britain from November 14 to 17.
