Dance workshops will be used to teach children about the importance of regular exercise and healthy living thanks to a £8,000 windfall.
The Kipperfoot Dance Company has secured £4,100 from the National Lottery's Awards for All Programme, a £1,000 Healthy Oxfordshire Award and £3,000 from the Southern Arts New Commissions Fund to tour schools this summer.
Kipperfoot will work with Cherwell District Council to produce a performance raising awareness about the dangers of inactivity and poor diet.
