A 22-year-old man pleaded guilty to drink driving at Didcot Magistrates' Court.
John Maloney, of Beggars Lane, Longworth, near Oxford, was stopped by police in Faringdon Road, Longworth, at 10.15pm on New Year's Day.
The case has been adjourned until Monday, January 28, and Maloney was given an interim driving ban.
